Dave raced at Pomona Raceway 5 times during the 1961 season and put his 00 Corvette in the winners circle each and every time!
Here he is streaking ahead of eventual 2nd place finisher Scott Briley at the weekend races on January 7th & 8th, 1961.

Dave MacDonald & good friend Joe Frietas racing toe-to-toe through the Pomona underpass on July 20th 1962. Dave is driving his
new 61 Vette. He sold his 57 Vette to Joe who painted it #77 and they raced very successfully as teammates during the 62 season.
In this race Dave won and Joe was dnf

Below: Same 7/20/62 race shows Ken Miles in a Ferrari Berlinetta just ahead of Dave. (Dave drove in two races that day and in the
modified event late in the afternoon, he piloted a Devin Corvette to a 2nd place finish behind Bill Krause in his Maserati Birdcage).

Dave retakes the lead from Miles and goes on to victory on 7/20/62. Like Joe, Ken dnf'd.
